The Queen is Dead, by The Smiths, is turning 25! →
I picked this article on morrissey-solo. It is hard to believe that The Queen is Dead was released 25 years ago. It is harder to believe no celebration is made of this in England. This is possibly the last great British album (though I rate Strangeways, Here We Come more highly).
